If you can find blank reels somewhere you can use it to play around with music recording. Its not the latest and greatest, but its just in your price range... Free. Also, what kind of instruments are you looking for? If you want to get a fix in for your jones, I have a few things you might be able to borrow. My dad used to be in a band, so has all kind of stuff. I can ask him what he wouldn´t mind loaning out for a while. If you come to the race track on Saturday we can talk about it. Vroom Vroom!
